Though I never got to meet Bethany in person, I genuinely felt proud of her as I watched her growing up over social media. Even from afar I could tell how much of an intelligent, engaged and thoughtful young woman she was growing up to be. She was an inspiration from a young age and I have no doubt that she touched and made a difference in so many lives. My thoughts are with you all as you gather today.
